About the Laboratory for Molecular Nano-Optics

We explore the interaction of light with molecules on the nanoscale and develop novel methods of controlling the photophysical and chemical properties of materials using photonic structures which tightly confine the electromagnetic field. In our research, we utilize advanced nanofabrication and spectroscopic methods, aiming to understand the fundamental properties of such nanoscale interactions and to develop the next generation of hybrid photonic/molecular devices.
